Files on support messages

Attach files when you write to support, so a screenshot or an invoice arrives with the message instead of in a separate email.

• Paste a screenshot straight into the form with Ctrl+V – no saving it first.
• Or pick files the usual way: images, PDFs, audio and video, up to five per message.
• Attachments are encrypted at rest, like everywhere else in Lezio, and are decrypted only when the message is sent.

A dashboard you arrange yourself

The dashboard settings now let you decide which figures you see and in what order.

• Drag your chosen stats to reorder them – the dashboard follows that order.
• When all four slots are taken, the remaining stat says so instead of quietly refusing to switch on.
• Attention rules read as the sentence they produce: "Unpaid balance – after 1 unpaid lesson", so a threshold explains itself.
• A rule's threshold only appears once the rule is on, so the panel stays short.

Changed

• Visual UI improvements across the whole app: spacing, text sizes, colours, icons and shapes are consistent from screen to screen.
• Lesson details always open as a side panel. Opening one from the dashboard or from notifications used to load a full page instead.
• Search and filters sit in the same place on every list, aligned with the page title.
• On Students, search has a line of its own, and "Show archived" moved in with the other filters.
• Schedules dropped its search field – the student filter now sits beside the title.
• Legal documents are rows with a short description of what each one covers, and the terms row carries its version and the date you accepted it.
• Tags are larger and easier to read and tap.
• Filter menus look the same everywhere, whether they take one value or several.

Fixed

• Lessons could be priced at 0. If you priced by default rate rather than per student, every lesson created by editing a schedule got a rate of 0, which then flowed into balances and earnings.
• Approving a moved or cancelled lesson did not reach Google or Outlook. The external event kept the old time, or stayed in the calendar after a cancellation, even though the student had already been told.
• The low-balance notice was skipped when lessons were completed in bulk or overnight – the two paths that most often push a balance into the red.
• A single-use invitation could be accepted twice if two people opened it at the same moment.
• Calendar day cells could not be clicked: pressing a date started selecting the text instead of opening the day.
• The parent view showed money and dates in US format regardless of your language.
• The on-screen keyboard covered part of a form on phones.
• On a phone, the student app never showed the unread badge on the Chat tab.
• Connection errors appeared in English for German, Russian and Ukrainian users.
• The parental access sheet explained the chat setting twice.

Under the hood

• Every outbound call to Google, Outlook, the mail and push providers now has a timeout, and none of them holds a database connection while it waits – a slow provider can no longer slow down the whole app.
• Two background jobs could take the server down when a provider misbehaved; they now recover on their own.
• Background jobs no longer run twice when more than one server instance is live.
• Long lists are capped on the server, and uploads are limited before the file is read rather than after.

Public booking page

Publish your own page at lezio.app/t/your-name, where prospective students see your profile and your free times and book a lesson. They do not need a Lezio account to book – it is created for them along with an invitation.

• You pick the mode: profile only, requests you approve, or instant booking.
• One-time booking links: hand a single-use link to someone specific – it books instantly, works even when open booking is off, and unused links can be revoked anytime.
• Booking requests land in "Needs attention" on the dashboard: approving creates the student, the lesson and an account invitation in one go; declining sends the requester a short note.
• New notification types for booking requests and self-booked lessons, with email and push toggles in the notification settings.
• Share it in one step: show the QR code, copy the link, or send it through your device's share sheet.
• Preview before you publish: see the page exactly as a visitor does, in light or dark and in any of your languages.
• Everything lives under Settings → Booking page: link name with suggestions and a live availability check, profile details, lesson duration, city and rate visibility, and a search-engine opt-out.

Your page in several languages

Write your booking page in more than one language yourself: keep a separate headline, about text and subjects for English, German, Russian and Ukrainian.

• Visitors get their own language when you have written it, and your main one otherwise.
• Nothing is machine-translated – every word on the page is yours.
• Add a language, switch between them, or pick a different main language, all from the booking page settings.

Notes from your students

Students can add a short note when they book, and a reason when they ask to move or cancel a lesson – so you decide with the context in front of you.

• The note appears on the request, next to approve and decline.
• Notes left through instant bookings and one-time links stay on the lesson itself.
• The reason is included in the email or push notification you receive.

Changed

• Lezio has a logo: our new mascot now appears as the app icon on your device, in the browser tab, and across the app.
• Terms of Service (section 16) and Privacy Policy (section 5) now cover public teacher pages and self-booking.
• Default rate and default currency are now a single setting instead of two separate ones.
• Publishing your page is one action, "Save & publish", with a shorter confirmation that states plainly what becomes public.
• Dialogs, spacing and text sizes were tidied up across the app for a calmer, more consistent look.
• Emails read better: the button is centred and the body text is easier to follow.

Fixed

• Your default currency no longer falls back to EUR after a restart – it is stored with your account.
• Selecting text on a page no longer picks up the initials inside avatars.

• Middle-click autoscroll on the web: click the scroll wheel to pan any page, just like in the browser.

Changed

• Right-click now opens the browser's own menu, and selected text gets the usual copy and search actions. Chat messages keep their Reply and Pin menu.
• The weekly availability editor is now a compact grid: one aligned row per day with time pills and quick actions.

Improved

• Mouse-wheel scrolling now works across the whole page, including the empty side margins.

Fixed

• Opening a message menu in chat no longer flashes a back arrow in the header.

Added

• The dashboard's "Needs attention" card is now yours to tune. Pick which rules flag a student: an unpaid balance (with a threshold in lessons that you choose), a balance that will tip over after this week's lessons, no upcoming lessons on the calendar, or an invitation that was sent but never accepted. Each rule switches on and off on its own, and you decide how many rows the card may show. The small tune icon on the card opens the settings; they also live in Settings.
• The headline figures above the dashboard can be chosen too: show up to four of earned this week, due, will be due, lessons this week ("1 of 3 done") and hours taught.
• A new "Unfinished lessons" row counts past lessons still waiting to be marked completed. Tapping it opens the familiar confirmation, so recording last week takes two taps from the dashboard.
• The "Mark past lessons as completed" summary is sortable: tap the column labels to order students by name or lesson count, and dates by day or lesson count.
• Past lessons can now complete themselves. Overnight, yesterday's still-scheduled lessons are marked completed, so your earnings stay current without the daily confirming. It's on by default under Settings → Dashboard, where you can also set how many days to wait first – handy if you record absences late. Lessons from before you had the option are left for the familiar dialog, and any lesson can still be edited afterwards.

Fixed

• The "Needs attention" card could get stuck loading forever when past group lessons were waiting to be completed.

Improved

• A long line in an attention row now wraps to a second line instead of being cut off mid-sentence.

Fixed

• Connecting your own calendar could instantly bring a Google "event cancelled" email even though no lesson was cancelled – Lezio was only removing the now-duplicate copy of the lesson from the teacher's invitation. Housekeeping like this is silent now; a real cancellation still sends its email.
• A student who verified their email address only after lessons were already planned never made it onto the calendar invitations. Verifying – or joining through an invitation – now updates the calendar right away.

• On a phone, the Payments summary now gives each figure a row of its own, so headings like "Received · July 2026" are no longer cut short mid-word.
• Settings → Calendar sync now fits a narrow screen. The word "Connected" gives way to the green tick that already says it, "Connect" becomes a link button, and provider names no longer wrap onto three lines.

Fixed

• Students opened Chat and found nothing there, with no way to reach their teacher. A conversation was only ever created once someone wrote the first message, and nothing on the student's side could start one. Their teacher now appears in the list from the beginning, so the first message is one tap away.
• When the chat list failed to load, the screen simply said there were no conversations. It now says something went wrong and offers to try again, so a passing connection problem no longer looks like an empty inbox.
• The empty Chat screen promised students their chats "with students" would appear there. It now names teachers and groups.
• On an empty Payments page the round + button sat on top of the "Record payment" button underneath it. The + button now waits until there are payments to scroll through.
• A payment row could run past the edge of a phone screen when the student's name or the source was long.
• The three role buttons on the sign-up screen had no space at their sides, so a longer label ran into the edge of the button instead of sitting in the middle.
• On the Schedules page, the placeholder line in the example card touched the "Active" badge beside it.

Added

• Changing a student's price now offers to update the lessons already in your schedule. Lessons are priced when they are created, so until now a new rate only reached lessons you created afterwards – everything already on the calendar kept the old price. A tick box lets you decide, and lessons you gave a special price are left alone.
• Changing a student's currency moves their upcoming lessons across and leaves the settled past where it is. Two tick boxes decide the rest: one recalculates the scheduled lessons at the new rate, the other restates everything including past lessons and payments. The conversion follows your prices: if 300 € paid for 12 lessons at 25 €, it becomes 12 lessons at your new rate, and the amount you actually received is kept as a note on the payment so your records still show the real cash.
• Payments gained a currency filter, shown only once more than one currency is actually on the page. It narrows the summary tiles along with the list.

Changed

• When your figures span more than one currency, the summary tiles on Home and Payments now list each currency instead of showing the largest one with a "+1" beside it. Your own currency always comes first, and nothing is hidden behind a badge any more.
• Earnings now shows one currency at a time. It used to stack a section per currency – and opened filtered to euros, so a teacher billing in another currency saw an empty page until they found the filter. When more than one currency is present, ‹ › arrows above the summary step through them; the page opens on your own currency and remembers the one you were reading.
• The lesson count and average price per lesson left the Earnings summary tiles for a small "?" beside the lesson-value heading – tap or hover it when you want them, and the summary row stays compact.
• An Earnings chart too wide for the screen now pages with ‹ › arrows instead of a thin scrollbar, and it draws the lesson-value bars only when you switch them on.

Fixed

• A student who had been billed in two currencies had those amounts added together as if they were the same money, which made the balance on their card meaningless. Each currency is now counted on its own.
• The lesson and schedule forms always showed the inherited price with a euro sign, whatever currency the student was actually billed in.

Beta 0.9.2

Added

• Earnings now covers a period you choose – the last 1, 3, 6 or 12 months, a single calendar year, or all time. It used to total your whole history no matter what, so the figures could only ever grow. The page opens on the last 12 months.
• The balance bar marks money paid in advance in a lighter green, and keeps a small outstanding amount wide enough to notice instead of shrinking it to an invisible sliver.

Changed

• The Earnings summary is now three figures – Received, Lesson value and Awaiting. The gap between the money that came in and the lessons you actually taught is what a credit or a debt is, and you can now read it straight off the top of the page. Lesson count and average per lesson moved under the lesson value.
• Stability improvements and fixes throughout.

Fixed

• Awaiting added each week or month up on its own, so lessons taught in June and paid for in July were counted as unpaid. It now shows what your students genuinely still owe you – the same figure as the students list – and no longer changes when you switch between week, month and student.
• Week and month rows on Earnings labelled the gap between that period's cash and its lessons as money due. They now show the value of the lessons delivered in the period, which is what they were really measuring.
• Recording a payment left Needs attention on the home screen showing the old balance until you restarted the app.
• The Earnings chart printed a stray amount on top of its highest gridline label, and squeezed a long history into hairline bars. It now keeps bars readable and scrolls sideways instead.

Added

• "Hide cancelled" in the calendar's overflow menu, remembered between sessions. Pending cancellation requests stay visible — they are still waiting on your answer.

Fixed

• "Avg lesson value" on Earnings divided the money you had received by the number of lessons, so a student paying in advance made the average look wrong. It now uses the agreed value of the lessons themselves.
• The amounts along the side of the Earnings chart ignored which currency they were in.
